WELCOME

The Australian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) is the peak representative body of Australia's 17,000 medical students. Our mandate is to connect, inform and represent medical students through national and grassroots advocacy, annual conferences, projects and publications.

 

AMSA is run day-to-day by over 500 student volunteers. These student volunteers are under the leadership of 15 members of the National Executive.

Please consider applying for any role that interests you, regardless of your year within medicine, previous AMSA experience, previous leadership experience, or expertise. AMSA is a national organisation and our leadership team is for students from every university, every city and every state.

HOW TO APPLY 

“To be eligible to apply, you must be a currently enrolled medical student at one of Australia’s medical schools. This unfortunately does not include pre-medical students.”

You DO NOT require AMSA experience to apply.

Step 3: Fill out this google form: https://forms.gle/N9ttB6SZc7cuQc2B7    before Sunday February 6th 11:59PM AEDT

After applications close we will be blindly marking each application. We will then shortlist applicants for an interview. Dates for interviews will be determined based on the individual timeline of each committee, this will be highly dependent on their exam periods.  You will be contacted after the close date as to an estimate of when the interviews will be.
